So that sounds just about right for the numbers that you are reporting.

I am sure that you know about www.betabase.info, right? It has average and ranges of beta numbers for each dpo.

Take this one day at a time. I was a very nervous (for good reason, given a long history of BFNs) first timer and I did look it up and found that right around 50% of pregnancies with my first beta at that point go on to become babies. Fortunately I turned out to be on the right side of that coin flip.

It sounds to me like you are somewhat, if not wildly, better positioned than I was when I finally got my happy ending. I hope your experience this time will mirror mine that go 'round, which was a boringly healthy and uneventful full-term pregnancy.

I hope you are able to get whatever additional information you'd like to have that the clinic's got, but you know the reality which is that what happens, happens. There is hope - we went through 4 IVF's and 2 m/c and we were finally blessed with a son. But our first beta was 3.7, not 37, 3 . 7 :), our second beta was 12 and so on. We ended up in our RE's medical journal because it was all but unheard of to have a healthy, live birth with that kind of beta start. So it is possible, don't lose heart or hope. You will continue to be in my prayers - blessings to you :).Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09488981503913508101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5160381109996491098.post-7993317417664061742009-05-22T15:49:23.280-04:002009-05-22T15:49:23.280-04:00YAY - so happy for you, congratulations! Not sure ...YAY - so happy for you, congratulations! Not sure exactly what day you are on but I had a first beta test on 20 DPO (or past egg retrieval) and it was 152. I know you are way earlier than that at the moment. Mine increased steadily but did not double every two days. I am now 16 weeks along with the same pregnancy and everything seems good so far. I talked to the doctor about it at my 12 week scan and got told that people often make too much of the early numbers, it's a continued rise that matters. Sounds viable to me! :)MabelBnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5160381109996491098.post-26598760458149586292009-05-22T15:45:53.891-04:002009-05-22T15:45:53.891-04:00I think it's a good number!!
