Introducing Hallmark rejects...by Mo and Will

Inspired by the miscarriage e-card Mo found last week, we have decided to begin an occasional, off-color series of loss and infertility "cards," created by us. Who knew coming up with these could be so fun? Feel free to let us know if we take it too far.

  1. Hahaha, this is just what I needed this morning. I am a new reader and have found your recent posts about a dark sense of humor hitting very close to home. I love your blog, thank you for sharing.

  7. I definitely think it should yell "Sucker" after the "except for you" comment. Thanks for the giggle! We are all so twisted. :)

  12. Ooh -- this one is GOOD. Keep 'em coming. And seriously, the darker the better. Incidentally, the puppy is adorable -- having a dog makes this whole IF thing more tolerable.

  13. I officially snorted when I got to the bottom of the card. A perfect smarmy pregnancy photo. Good one. Does the inside of the card say, "Life sucks, get used to it."

  16. I'm far enough into my IF journey (okay let's get real nightmare) that I find that to be humorous. This card is perfect for me too! My body sucks at growing and nurturing babies and I often poke fun of myself for it. Fortunately, K can laugh with me about it, but I realized this past weekend that others seem bothered by it. Oh well if it makes me laugh, then it's worth others weird looks. Thanks for sharing!

  17. Too funny. I love it. I just shared with my husband and we both can still find humor in this.

You guys could really make money on this line!

  19. Ha ha ha! That's great -- it's dark humour, which I love, but it's also a great way to expose the privilege and ignorance surrounding ideas about infertility. I look forward to seeing more.
