Meet the newest member of Mo and Will's family

We got a puppy this weekend! She's a girl! She has white paws and a white belly and a little wrinkled body and the most adorable floppy ears!

We are thinking we will name her Moxie, which according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, means 1.) Energy, pep. 2.) Courage, determination. 3.) Know-how. Per Wikipedia: This neologism has taken on the meaning of "courage, daring, energy, vision" in American English. As in, This girl's got moxie!

We are very busy (and a little sleepless!) helping Moxie settle in to her new home. It is wonderful for us to have someone to love.

Welcome home, little one!

  1. SOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo Cute! I love dogs. We have two - a golden retriever named Bridget and a Saint Bernard mix named Zoey. Love pups. They really help with all of the IF related stuff! There is nothing more loving and encouraging than a sloppy, wet dog kiss!

  5. So extremely cute! And boxers are great dogs, SO GLAD YOU GOT A DOG! I honestly don't know how people get through this sort of crap without pets around.

I'm off this week, so let me know if you want to get together for a meal or a drink or something, either with the boys or without 'em.

Or we could go to a dog park somewhere! Nellie would LOVE to meet a new buddy, and Moxie looks like a doll. So happy for you!

  16. She is too cute! I'm a hopeless dog lover who endlessly trains, pampers, and loves my American Bulldog, Sweetpea. Knowing Boxers, I bet that Moxie will live up to her name! Enjoy your girl, all the wet sloppy kisses and joyful puppy dances. Take lots of pictures!

  19. So, so cute!!! I am staring at my beloved dog Shelly right now - I got her when she was 8 weeks old and she is 13.5 years old now - I love this dog so much. I also have a cat (he hates everyone but me) that is 14 years old. These two know me better than just about anyone. And they are just happy when I am near them - it is the best.

  21. OMG she is ADORABLE!!

Lovin the new addition to your family Mo, I'd be lost without my two, even more so than I already am.

They sit patiently by me when I'm sad and lick my tears away when I cry. I heart my dogs!

  28. Forgive me if I double comment - my comment seems to have disappeared.

Anyway, I'm so happy for you and Will to have a new puppy. She's adorable - and Moxie is a great name. I don't know how I would have gotten through this much without my dog and cats. I'm glad you have something to shower with love and attention!

  33. There is no cure for infertility, but the silky soft ears and belly of a puppy come close!!! About as close as you can get! So happy for your newest addition. I LOVE Boxers. Everyone I know who has one would never get any other breed of dog. Congrats Mo and Will! And btw, Moxie might possibly the best puppy name I have ever heard.

  37. She's so cute! Hope you have a lot of energy - our former neighbors had a boxer and if she was bored, she found ways to entertain herself. Lets just say they had to get a GIANT mailbox, because the dog liked to eat the mail (especially packages). Boxers are such beautiful dogs. Enjoy!
