Remembering

Today we are also remembering, one year ago today, the loss of our sixth pregnancy.

Can't believe it was a year ago.

Can't believe we are still in this mess.

Can't believe we are still nowhere in terms of taking a next step.

Taking some time to grieve this loss, and the hits to each of us emotionally as individuals, the impact on us as a couple.

Here's hoping with everything we've got that by this time next year, we are out the other side.

Mo

  3. Thinking of you.

I don't think it's quite right that you haven't made progress toward your goal of growing your family, though I know you're not where you want to be.

    Hoping for you.

  4. Wishing for you this wish you wish for yourselves, that in one years time you are finally blessed (and I mean that in a secular way) with the long sought after and already loved child that you are destined to have.

  12. I hate how dates do that to us. They remind us of the loss, but also remind us of the very.slow.pace. of our journey towards a child.

It's feels good at the time to think, 'oh a year from now we'll'. But then when that marker comes up, what a stinker that is.

One of these days Mo, one of these days it will all come together.

    Thinking of you.

  18. do you know the column "sugar"? she has an amazing ability to answer letters with important universal wisdom. for me, i often find that somehow it is somehow relevant to infertility. this one is on grief:
