Blood is drawn.
Let the waiting commence.
In the meantime, we offer this picture to tide you over.
Can you see how dark the line is now?
Even a blind man can see how pregnant I am! (small homage to one of my favorite writers - who is also a psychologist - Amy Bloom).
It's actually darker in real life. Definitely no more squinting required.
Plus, I have to tell you, I feel pregnant. Uterine burbles a'plenty. Tired, tired, tired (skipped class yesterday afternoon and took an hour-long nap before dinner last night). Breasts are, well, yowza.
We had a bit of a circus act yesterday to get more Vivelle patches, Endometrin suppositories, and progesterone in ethyl oleate, making trips to two specialty pharmacies across town from each other. Geesh. I have never been so excited to have Will plunge a progesterone needle into my backside as I was yesterday evening. Really felt that I was feeding the little embryo, giving it a chance at making it.
I'm thinking the beta has to be higher with a line like I'm seeing on this test. Here's hoping it's higher enough. I'll post results when they come in. Am hoping to hear news by 1pmish.
Thank you guys for all of your kind wishes and your low beta success stories. We are so touched to receive so many visitors and comments. Would you believe that more than 1,300 of you visited the blog yesterday? A day we didn't even update. Who knew there were so many of you? We are extremely moved that you are out there, wishing for the best with us. A special thanks to longtime readers and to you lurkers who are making the leap to comment. It means a lot.
More to come, later today.
Mo

I am SO thrilled to see that very visible line!!! That has to mean good things are happening in your ute. I guarantee at least 50 of your page views today will be from me, waiting for your results! : ) Also: I know of someone who started with a first beta of 11 who is now in her 11th week of pregnancy with everything looking great.
ReplyDeleteLook at that LINE! It's a great sign, for sure. I so hope this little one sticks for you. You are working so hard (and have worked so hard) and giving it every chance...just like great parents should! Best of luck to you today...I'm hoping for a good strong number!

ReplyDeletekd
Woohoo!! This is great!! Can't wait to hear your results.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I'm also a low beta success story. My beta 9dp3dt was 18, and then on 11dp3dt was 44. Doctors said it was not going to make it. Of course I am now 7 months pregnant with one (we hope) perfect baby!
I'm sure you already know about this, but check out betabase.info. If you enter your betas, it shows where you are compared to other women and it was really reassuring to me during that first week!
You are DEFINITELY pregnant! I'm so excited for you guys. Keep us updated!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear confirmation of the good news tomorrow! Good luck with the progesterone shots. Those really started to cause me some pain after a while; but then again I ended up having to give them to myself b/c my husband is a bit of a big baby about blood and needles. I have some tips to try if you need them.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog and wish you all the success with this pregnancy!! I have my fingers crossed that you have high numbers today!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you. Praying for rising number.
Thinking of you today & always
I'm so glad it's getting darker!
ReplyDeleteHopeful for you.
Yay for a darker line! Looking forward to your next update!
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely a line. Can't wait to hear Beta #. Grow baby grow!!
ReplyDeleteYAY! I can see this line for sure :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear the beta number!
I too, will be responsible for coming back (and back, and back) until I hear about the second beta. I also echo what someone said (maybe it was yesterday) that if the betas are rising, you should keep up with the progesterone... Sending hugs and baby dust and so very hopeful that this is it for you and that mid summer you have a wonderful baby to hold. Crossing all crossables for a high number soon!
ReplyDeletei'm here, and have been here for a while - praying in silence for ya'll! thanks for the updates!
ReplyDeleteWhat a big day!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a positively conclusive beta result!
I have a good feeling about this. may the news continue to be good. All the way to baby safe in mothers arms. And daddy too, good job Will.
ReplyDeleteHolding you all in the light.
That is an awesome line!!! I am stalking waiting for the results.....and it will cheer me up going into my transfer....so bring it on!!!
ReplyDeleteDelurking to say that your 11dp5dt line is darker than the 16dpIUI line that brought my little dude. Excited and hopeful for you!
ReplyDeleteThere is no mistaking that line! WOOHOO! Continuing to think sticky hopeful thoughts for you!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty serious line you've got there. I'm super excited for you!
ReplyDeleteI am a reader/ not often poster. Rooting for you!!!
ReplyDeleteRefresh, refresh, refresh!!! Okay, that accounts for a bunch more hits. Come on, Flying Spaghetti Monster or whoever, it's Mo and Will's turn!
ReplyDeleteYahoo! What a great dark line, lots of growing going on. Go Embryo Go. Hoping, wishing, and praying for strong beta number. Lynne
ReplyDeleteI have to believe that if the line is darkening, then your beta will be good as well! I have everything crossed for you and Will. Is it 1:00pmish yet?!
